Nathan Wasserberger was a Jewish American painter known for his portrait paintings. Originally from Chrzanów, Poland, he survived the Holocaust and emigrated to the United States in 1946. Seven photographs of Wasserberger and 67 photographs of his paintings, are held in the Archives and Special Collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C.
